Run to Fleet Feet for Race for the Cure

Mark your calendar for Saturday, January 19 for the Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure. It will be held at the Meyer Amphitheater in Downtown West Palm Beach with the first event, the Women's 5K Run, beginning at 7:30 A.M.

From January 2 - 17 Fleet Feet Stuart will be taking registrations for the Race for the Cure; this is only for those who have not already registered online or through the mail. If you would like to participate and have not registered this will give you an opportunity to sign up and at the same time receive your bib number and your tee shirt right here in Stuart, you don't have to drive to West Palm Beach for packet pick up (all timed participants will pick up their chip on race day).

Our store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and on Sunday from noon to 4 P.M. We are located at 2440 NW Federal Hwy., Stuart - right next door to Bed Bath and Beyond in Circuit City Plaza. Our phone number is 772.232.9225 and you can also email if you have any questions:

The 2007 Komen South Florida Race for the Cure raised over $1.7 million with up to 75% of the funds remaining in our service area of Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach Counties to pay for breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25% supports cutting edge breast cancer research. Plan on joining thousands of others at this very memorable event; there is something for everyone in the family.

8:00 A.M. - Men's 5K Run (chip timed)
8:30 A.M. - 3.1 Co-Ed Walk (does not require a chip)
8:45 A.M. - Teams Start
9:00 A.M. - Kids for the Cure (ages 6 - 12)
9:15 A.M. - Tots for the Cure (ages 5 and under)
9:30 A.M. - 1 Mile Fun Walk
