HOMS Jazz Spreading Some Holiday Cheer!

The Hidden Oaks Middle School Jazz Band spreads a little Holiday cheer by performing for the Stuart Rotary Club at their annual Holiday luncheon. The Luncheon was held Thursday, December 19, 2007 at the Golden Buffet Restaurant in Stuart.

The Hidden Oaks Middle School Jazz Band has looked forward to this Holiday tradition for the entire semester. Students from 6th through 8th grade that perform with the community-service Jazz Band under the direction of; Mr. Allen Gilbert the Director of Band Programs at Hidden Oaks Middle School in Palm City have performed for the Rotary Club for several years.

A great majority of the forty-nine members were in attendance, as well as several students from JD Parker Elementary School to share in the Holiday festivities. One Rotary member commented, "This is my favorite Band in all of Martin County".

The Hidden Oaks Middle School Band Boosters would like to thank Pat Tobin, the President of the Rotary Club, and members for their hospitality and support.
