FIRST COMMUNITY HOSPICE HEART AWARD PRESENTED TO
HARRY & THE NATIVES OWNER, HARRY MACARTHUR
On Wednesday, January 2, 2008 the first Community Hospice Heart Award was presented to Harry MacArthur, owner of Harry & the Natives Restaurant & Catering in Hobe Sound. The Community Hospice Heart Award was created by Treasure Coast Hospice staff to recognize folks in our community who have displayed compassion, generosity, and support to families who have had a loved one cared for by Treasure Coast Hospice and to our organization.
Harry is a huge community supporter in Hobe Sound, frequently holding benefits at his restaurant. Though he is involved with many community organizations, such as the Boys & Girls Club, Hobe Sound Community Chest, and Martin County Fair Association, he has a special place in our hearts at Treasure Coast Hospice. Recently, Harry was identified by one of our social workers for his compassion, generosity, and support given to an employee who had a loved one in our care. This display of kindness and caring truly follows the path Harry walks...supporting the local community.
The staff and volunteers of Treasure Coast Hospice treasure people like Harry and congratulate him on receiving the first Community Hospice Heart Award.
