On Sunday, March 18th,
Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens
hosted a small reunion of the Class of 1950 from Waukegan Township High School. Attendees met at TRBG and shared hugs with each other and stories of thier lives . Bruce Diamond, along with his wife, Marilyn were the instigators of this reunion. They are Sunday Volunteers with TRBG and Bruce's classmates were only in town for a short time. Dolly and Bing Smith live in Stuart but Patricia McComsey is from Sacramento, California and Sonia Bedrosian still resides in Waukegan, Illinois.
All enjoyed this get together as you can see from the happy smiles of the group.
Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens
is open one weekend a month and the next time will be April 14 and 15th. On the 14th at 10 am TRBG will be presenting Free to the Public Martin County Extension Agent and MCTV's "Farmer" Fred Burkey. Fred will be showing visitors to the garden the proper way to propogate plants from cuttings. As always, many unusual plants will be available for sale.
