Regan Honored as Hometown Hero by Riverside Bank

Gregory P. Regan, Martin County resident and Specialist for the U.S. Army was awarded Riverside Bank's Hometown Hero Award as recognition for his self-sacrificing career in the United States Army, including 15 months of service in Iraq. He will be returning to Iraq at the end of this year for an additional 12 months, following a stay in Fort Hood, Texas. Tim Busby, Riverside Bank President in Port St. Lucie and Martin County presented Gregory with a plaque and a Fossil watch during a celebration and reception at the Port St. Lucie North office. "We are delighted to publicly honor Greg for all he's doing for us and for our country," said Busby. "Greg is the heart of what it means to be a Hometown Hero. He is an excellent representative of all U. S. Army soldiers and we're all very proud of him." Riverside's Hometown Hero Program recognizes people with positive community spirit, involvement in charitable and civic activities, and enthusiasm in promoting and supporting their home town.
