The Red Hat Tomatoes of Stuart hosted a Spring Fair at the Knight's of
Columbus Building in Stuart, on Saturday March 8, 2008 There were 121 Red Hatters from chapters as far away as Boynton Beach to the south and Vero Beach to the north! Upon entering the Knight's building there was a sign directing Hatters to the right for registration, or to the left to shop with twelve different vendors

The Red Hat Chapters attending this event were: Chapeau Rouge, Classy Red Foxes, Dazzling Dames in Red, Foxy Firecrackers, Friends to the End, Glad Hatters of Vero, Kanner Cherries, Lucie Goosies, Martin County Ruby Reds, Pizazzy Pineapples, Red-Licious Ladies of WPB, Red Hat Honeys, Red Hat Tomatoes, Red Hattitudes of PLV, Riverfront Red Hat Hotties, Royal Rubies, St. Lucie Red Hat Belles, Scarlet Dames, Scarlet Vamps, Surfside Sisters from Jupiter and Treasure Coast Ladies with Hattitude.

Queen Dorothy Puntino welcomed all of us to this Event. Leslie Russo read "Warnings" by Jenny Joseph. The March Birthday girls were asked to stand and the rest of us played Happy Birthday on the kazoos that were donated by S&S Industries. Leslie Russo read a tribute to "The Apron".

Lunch consisted of your choice of Grilled Chicken Breast Caesar Salad or Shrimp/Crab meat salad platter. Each of us had a cup of fresh fruit, ice tea and coffee. There was also a Cash bar. Hoffman's Chocolates made a Special Red Hat dessert. Our dessert of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup was topped with a Hoffman's milk chocolate sucker formed in the patented Red Hat Society candy mold.

At each table setting was a live, blooming plant for each Hatter to take
home for her garden.

A total of 27 door prizes were given. The ladies doing door prizes were Ellen Morrone, Kathy Parker, and Marilyn Dawson of the Red Hat Tomatoes chapter; and Ellen MeAnellen of Red Hattitudes of Pine Lake Village.

There was line dancing - led and taught by Kathy Parker.

Margie Martinez of the Classy Red Foxes won a Basket of Cheer. So we're all invited over to Margie's house to party.

The Easter bonnet contest winner was Barbara Watson of the St.
Lucie Red Hat Belles. Barbara was given a beautiful Easter Basket
filled with chocolates, a gift certificate for $25.00 to Manero's
Restaurant and a Red Hat magnet.

waiters. The winning chapter was the Scarlet Vamps. They were given
assorted tea and cookies for their own chapter tea party.
