EARNED HER BACHELOR'S DEGREE AT AGE 80!

When you meet Marion Maloney you're instantly charmed by her kindness and altruism. Here is one thing you didn't know about her...

After raising a big family in New Jersey, Marion retired from a position in the legal field and came to Florida with Jim, her husband of 50 years. They volunteered for years together delivering meals on wheels.

When widowed, Marion decided to go to college to further her education. At 80 years old she received her Bachelor's Degree and in addition she received her Masters at 81 ! While attending classes, she enjoyed the public speaking classes the most, so it was natural for her to join Tostmasters to keep her skills up to date. Marion has just completed her impresive "Competent Communicator Award".

Marion has found that Toastmasters is a unique organization where one can improve their presentation skills. The membership is all ages, from all fields of employment with one goal in mind, to improve their communication skills. The once a week gathering is a chance for all the members to come together and learn from each other.

Marion's goal is to become a public speaker locally to share her stories about raising her large family. Her stories are humorous and come straight from the heart. She is amazing!
