Tim Mahoney Endorsed By The United States Chamber Of Commerce At Toyota Of Stuart

Stuart, FL - When the United States Chamber of Commerce wanted to publicly endorse Congressman Tim Mahoney in his reelection campaign to represent Florida's 16th Congressional District, Mahoney chose John Pierson's Toyota of Stuart for the announcement. In his comments at the announcement, Congressman Mahoney recognized John Pierson's entrepreneurial skills and his consistent involvement and support of the community.

The award-winning dealership is known throughout the area for their exemplary philanthropy to non-profit organizations including Alzheimer's Community Care, Treasure Coast Hospice, ARC of Martin County, The Boys and Girls Club, Martin Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation, representing 3 million businesses and organizations of every size. "On issues ranging from economic competitiveness to fiscal responsibility, Florida's business community has no better than Tim Mahoney," said Miller.

Tim Mahoney has been a champion for the people of central Florida and an invaluable leader on important issues," said Bill Miller, Chamber senior vice president and political director. Congressman Mahoney's work on behalf of American business includes: eliminating multimillion dollar frivolous lawsuits, injecting capital back into the housing market, jumpstarting the slowing economy, tax relief for small businesses, tax relief for 21 million taxpayers and supporting free trade with Colombia.

Congressman Mahoney stated, "As an entrepreneur going to Congress, I promised I would work with Democrats and Republicans to create jobs and protect the American Dream for our children. I will continue my efforts to make Florida a leader in alternative energy, protect Florida agriculture, eliminate frivolous lawsuits, and push for tax cuts for small businesses."

In June, Pierson purchased the dealership from his business partner and has been making improvements to the property employing local contractors in an effort to pump funds back into this community.
