STUART, FL - Martin County Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Davis, stated Tuesday, October 10, 2006, is the deadline for new voters to register to vote in the upcoming November 7 th General Election. Voters who want to change party affiliation for the General must also do so by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Voter registration forms are available online at www.MartinVotes.com. A copy of the form can be downloaded, signed and mailed to the Martin County Elections Center at P. O. Box 1257, Stuart, FL 34995, together with a copy of the voter's signed ID.

Early voting will begin October 23, 2006 and continue through November 4, 2006, at six early voting locations throughout the county. Early voting hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The locations are available on the website at www.MartinVotes.com.
