(Stuart, Florida, September 25, 2008) - The Salvation Army of Martin County will begin scheduling appointment on September 22 nd through October 3 rd for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Assistance Programs. Please call The Salvation Army at (772) 288-1471 or stop by our office to set up your appointment.

The assistance programs are only open to Martin County residents who meet the standards set by the National Poverty guidelines. Those who have scheduled an appointment must bring with them a Photo ID, proof of income, proof of expenses in Martin County and either a birth certificate or social security card for all persons in the household. Appointments are required for completing the application process.
