VNA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIP TO LOCAL STUDENT
Contributed by: Dan Crow on 6/30/2009

STUART - Visiting Nurse Association of Florida awarded a scholarship of $1,000 to Lysa Vola based on academic excellence, community involvement, and overall achievement. She received this scholarship due to her impressive school performance and her application excelled as a result of her interest in the healthcare industry.

Lysa graduated from Jensen Beach High School as a model student and will use this money to further her education and achieve her academic goals. One of the many ways the VNA contributes to the community is by investing in our youth.

Established in 1976, the VNA of Florida is a non-profit, community-based healthcare agency offering complete home health services. Our mission is "to serve all patients regardless of age, sex, religious affiliation, national origin or disease process with a wide range of quality home health care, regardless of ability to pay, as funds allow." For more information about the VNA visit www.vnaflorida.org.
