The Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Stuart was inducted for the 2009/2010 term at The Yacht and Country Club in Stuart. The new directors are:

- Secretary: Patrick Slattery
- Treasurer: Kristine Loessin
- Sgt. At Arms: Wayne York
- Past President: William Miller
- Membership Chair: Jack Tartamella
- Public Relations Chair: Joe Serra
- Club Service Chair: Liz Plasket
- Club Administration Chair: Natalie Knipfer
- Rotary Foundation Chair: William Miller

In addition to the inducting the new Board, awards were given to Liz Plasket for The Rookie of the Year and to Kristine Loessin as the Rotarian of the Year.

The Rotary Club of Stuart was the first Rotary Club to be formed in Stuart and will be celebrating its 80 th anniversary this year. Our membership lives up to its motto, "Service Above Self" by participating in our various fund raisers and volunteering within the community. Proceeds from our fundraising goes towards local high school scholarships and various local programs. We meet every Wednesday at 12:10 p.m. at The Golden Buffet in Stuart.
