AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced a gift of $7,000 to United Way of Martin County.
United Way of Martin County will use the gift to support 43 agency programs that touch the lives of more than 80,000 people and continue its work of creating long-lasting community change.
United Way agency programs and initiatives address the basic building blocks of a good life for Martin County residents by focusing on education, income and health.
"We appreciate AT&T's generosity and our partnership with them," said Jim Vojcsik, Executive Director for United Way of Martin County.
"This donation is one of the largest corporate gifts to the annual campaign. It will help ensure that children, families, seniors and people with disabilities have access to the vital services they so desperately need", he said.
AT&T supports United Way nationally and in Martin County through employee contributions and corporate gifts.
