VNA 17th Annual Charity Golf Tournament a Success
Overcoming an uncertain economy and threatening Florida weather, the Visiting Nurse Association was able to bring local businesses and dedicated philanthropists together to help raise awareness and financial support for the Visiting Nurse Foundation and it's mission of helping those in need in our community. With over 100 participants and volunteers dedicated to this charitable cause, the VNA Annual Charity Golf Tournament was once again an amazing success.
The VNA provides home healthcare as funds allow, to the people in our community regardless of their ability to pay for treatment. The funds that were raised through this golf tournament, along with other fundraising events and contributions from the community are essential to continue providing this much needed outreach.
This year with the help of our sponsors, donors and players, our tournament raised nearly $20,000 to provide much needed care to individuals in our area. Events like our annual golf tournament and Air Show help to ensure that we are able to give back to our community.
For information on volunteering your time or donating to the Foundation, please contact Jan Furcron at (772)286-1844.

Thanks to all for supporting the VNA at the tournament. Funding from events like these support our efforts to provide free medical care to indigent and homeless patients across the state. Our latest project is establishing free clinics for homeless veterans in the area.

Thank you to all that showed up, it's wonderful to know that we as a community can continue to give back to the groups and those that need our help the most.
