United Way of Martin County will honor volunteers, donors, companies and agencies whose contributions promote the common good in our community during the annual Champions of the Community event.

Treasure Coast Bureau Chief/Reporter Bryan Garner will once again emcee the Champions event beginning at 5:30 p.m. April 23 with a cocktail reception at
St. Mary's Parish Life Center, 701 East Ocean Blvd., Stuart, followed by dinner and an awards ceremony
.
Another key moment during the Champions event occurs when the campaign chair announces whether United Way has achieved its campaign goal. Making this year's announcement will be Miguel Coty, Martin Memorial Health Systems vice president of marketing and 2008-09 campaign chairman.
United Way of Martin County would like to thank these companies who have joined the Champions of the Community sponsorship team as of April 13: Bank of America, Florida Power & Light, Forest Hills Memorial Park Funeral Home, Pratt & Whitney and Publix Super Markets Charities.
