4-H Dinner Theatre a Winner!
Contributed by: Pat Kahrimanian on 5/6/2009

May 2, 2009 brought Indian River State College's Drama Group to the Martin County Fairgrounds for a 4-H Mystery Theatre Dinner and what an event it was - so much fun with lots of audience participation.

The IRSC actors kept our attention, which must have been difficult for them because of the size of the room. We had no problems keeping up with the action and laughing at them and ourselves. Everyone seemed to get into the spirit of "Mystery Theatre" and no one had to be coaxed to participate in the drama.

The steak dinner was served by 4-H young people who were very polite, friendly and out going. It was a pleasure to interact with these very willing youngsters who were so happy to help out. It seems these days that we don't hear much about the "good" kids who are involved in all sorts of worthwhile activities but only about the "troubled" ones who are disruptive.

What a good time it was and of benefit to the wonderful 4-H organization of Martin County. Visit: http://martin.ifas.ufl.edu/4h.shtml to learn more about the
