Rotary Golf Ball "Drop" A Huge Success!

Annual Golf Ball "Drop" held Saturday, March 18 th at Monarch
Country Club in Palm City, announced today that the event was a
resounding success! This fun filled evening, consisting of chipping
and putting contests, silent and live auction with fabulous
offerings, outstanding food and drinks and finally the excitement
of a helicopter dropping hundreds of golf balls to determine first,
second and third prize winners actually doubled the amount raised
previously to a whopping $24,000!
This Rotary event raises funds for
Rotary Scholarships granted to local high schools seniors as well
as projects such as the highly successful "Dictionary Project"
which gives every third grade student in Martin County Public
Schools their own dictionary.
Rotary is made up of business and professional leaders who work to
better their community and build understanding and peace in the
world. Rotary is a non-political, non-religious humanitarian
