50th Anniversary is Golden for New Horizons

Look who's turning 50! New Horizons is celebrating our 50th Anniversary this fall and we invite everyone in the community to join us as we commemorate this outstanding achievement.

Our Golden Anniversary celebration will be held on Saturday, October 25 at the Pelican Yacht Club in Ft. Pierce. The golden festivities will begin with a reception at 6:00pm and will include dinner, entertainment and a live auction. Tickets for the event are $100 per person and proceeds will go toward the building fund for the Children's Crisis Center.

"It is going to be a very special evening for New Horizons," said Pat Daum, Director of Development. "We are going-for-the-gold in recruiting sponsors and we are off to a great start...HRH Insurance and Luminaries have signed on as major sponsors, "she said.

The St. Lucie Friends of New Horizons are planning the event and committee members promise a golden evening to remember. Committee members include: Dzidra Anderson, Coach Havert Fenn, Terry Fesler, Beth Gessner, David Hall, Debbie Hawley, Kathryn Hensley, Frannie Hutchinson, Dan Kurek, Mike Mead and Claire Melville.

New Horizons is your community mental health center serving the men, women and children of Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties.
