Many Benefit From Community Garage Sale
50 vendors set up tables and tents in the parking lot of John Pierson's Toyota of Stuart at 5101 SE Federal Highway in Stuart on May 30. Susan Bosshardt from Seawind Elementary was raising money for two third grade teachers, Cheryl Tarvin and Renee Klass, who were injured in a head on car crash on their way to work. Employees and parents had donated items for sale and Susan and other volunteers were happy to take advantage of the big garage sale.
Gail Goldy and her daughter Dawn, also participated so they could clean out the garage and make room for a new car they have their eye on.
John Pierson, owner of Toyota of Stuart said, " We do everything we can to help the community. We thought this would be a great opportunity to benefit individuals and organizations that want to sell what they have to raise money. I was pleased so many people came out to participate," he concluded.
Another vendor, John Cellos regularly sells items at flea markets and donates the proceeds to senior citizens that need some extra income. "John Pierson does so much to help so many people and I am glad to support whatever he is involved in," Rellos commented. "John is able to donate money. I donate with my own efforts and labor," he said.
