INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - Learn how to better hear the songs and sounds of life during a free seminar March 12 that will showcase the latest assisted listening devices now available through Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services of the Treasure Coast that will improve your quality of life!!.
DHHS Equipment Specialist Alicia Riedy will demonstrate user friendly devices to help you hear better on the phone, with friends and in large group situations.
The seminar will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the United Way of Indian River County, 1836 14 th Avenue, Vero Beach.
Among the listening aids to be shown are amplified cordless phones, TV Ears, pocket talkers with directional microphones, signaling devices and much more. Also learn about the Florida Phones on Loan Program, where residents can get amplified phones at no cost.
