A bit of sunshine was bestowed the consumers of the Alzheimer Community Care Center in Stuart on Friday, June 26.President Obama's Club Change of Martin County brought and served ice cream sundaes with the consumers at our local Alzheimer Community Care Center. They enjoyed the sundaes and Club CHANGE volunteers joined in with the music afterwards. It was an afternoon of pleasure for all involved. This service project was held to support President Obama's National Health Care Day of Service.These service projects give volunteers a chance to make an impact in their own communities while we simultaneously fight for long term, systemic health care reform.
