Website Seeks Fishing Tournament Listings

JENSEN BEACH , Florida/January 31, 2006 – The Treasure Coast Sport Fishing Expo website is now seeking Fishing Tournament information for fresh water, inland and offshore fishing tournaments for the Treasure Coast region. The information will be posted, free of charge, to the Expo and Treasure Coast Sport Fishing Hall of Fame website at www.TreasureCoastSportFishingExpo.com

Sam Yates, founder of the Expo and Hall of Fame said the tournament information will be updated frequently. “Our goal is to become a single source for fishing tournament information on the Treasure Coast for our local residents and tourists alike. We welcome representatives of the various tournaments to submit their information so we can cross promote their event. Right now there are numerous individual sites promoting many individual tournaments. We are going to fill the void by becoming a year-round single stop for tournament information.”

The Treasure Coast Sport Fishing Expo website is currently promoting the 2006 Expo. The 2006 Treasure Coast Sport Fishing Expo will be held at the Treasure Coast Square mall in Jensen Beach. Anyone wishing to exhibit or take part as a vendor should make their reservations early. “We are giving first preference to the exhibitors and vendors who took a chance at a very successful first time event. We want to reward them for their vision by giving them the first opportunity to take part in our 2006 Expo,” said Yates.

Once again for 2006, the highlight of the three-day-long Expo will be the announcement of the inductees into the newly created Treasure Coast Sport Fishing Hall of Fame. Inductees will be honored for their contributions to the Sport Fishing Industry on the Treasure Coast.
