Mark your calendars- starting at 2pm on Saturday, July 19, 2008,Animal Birth Control of Martin County Inc. will sponsor the 1st Annual 24 Hour FREE Spay/Neuter-A-Thon, in conjunction with Animal Care Extraordinaire of Stuart. Animal BIrth Control of Martin County, Inc., a 501C3, has been assisting with low cost spay/neuter surgeries since 1974. Taking the lead in 2006, then the founders retired were Mary Toto and De Caddigan. Mary & De are both full time school teachers and reside in Palm City.
After 34 years of service to the community, Animal Birth Control has now surpassed its 30,000th spay/neuter surgery. Animal Birth Control's officers are unpaid volunteers, who still find time at the end of their work day to field the calls and emails from those in need of the services provided by Animal Birth Control,
