The Treasure Coast Woodcarvers 24 th annual show, sale & juried competition is moving to Jensen Beach! The largest woodcarving show on Florida's east coast, the show has welcomed thousands each year. The show will be held at Langford Park in Jensen Beach on Saturday & Sunday, February 2 nd & 3 rd. Hours are 10AM-4PM.

TCW numbers about 150 members who travel from the Palm Beaches to Vero Beach for weekly carving sessions in Jensen Beach and Port St. Lucie. With world champion carvers in their membership, club members have won awards in competitions including the Ward World Championship in Ocean City, Maryland; the New England Wildfowl Exhibition; the National Decoy Show on Long Island and the North American Championship in Lavonia, Michigan.

This year the show's featured artist is master carver Bud Evans of St. Augustine, Florida. Bud honed his skills as a fine carver of wildfowl over the last 18 years. Throughout his carving career he has produced more than 2000 carvings and won numerous prestigious awards in competitions around the country. He is a sought-after competition judge, instructor and served as president of the New Jersey Wildfowl Carving Association. Previous Featured Carvers Paul Doherty, nationally known raptor carver and Chau Pham, last year's Featured Carver will also be showing as well as Charlie Miller, who's love spoons are sure to charm everyone as we head into Valentine's Day!

The show and sale includes the juried competition, carving demonstrations, carving tools and supplies and door prizes. Additionally, several talented carvers have donated some of their art for the club's popular annual raffle. Carvings on display at the show run the gamut from decoys to raptors, woodspirits, fish, caricatures, bowls, love spoons and more. In addition to exhibiting at the show, many world-class carvers sell their work or available for commissions. The public is encouraged to attend the show at its new location!

Pictured, raffle items are (clockwise) Curly Phillips' kingfisher wood burning, Paul Doherty's green-winged teal, Leon Banister's killdeer, and Russ Cox's scrub jay.
