The Art Associates of Martin County presented a $5,000 check to The Elliott Museum's CEO, Robin Hicks-Conners to be used toward the museum's building fund campaign. Local artists have enjoyed a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the Elliott that includes juried shows, art lessons, salons, and outdoor venues for displaying art. Presenting the check were Christine Trevethan, Sharon Ferina, Irma Russo, Marsha Frelund, and Tyler Hollis.

The Art Associates of Martin County contribute to the community in a variety of ways, including presenting scholarships to graduating seniors in all four of Martin County High Schools, giving gift certificates for art supplies to students every month, and supporting Hibiscus Children's Center with fund raising events. We welcome all artists and guests to attend our monthly meetings which are always art related, including live demonstrations by renowned artists, and are held at The Women's Club of Stuart on the second Monday of the month at 7:30pm from October through June.
