MOLLY'S GALLERY OPENS WITH A SERIES OF ART EXHIBITS BY LOCAL ARTISTS
STUART, FL - If you are interested in supporting local artists, Molly's Gallery is a unique place that will offer exhibits by local artists beginning in September. Molly's Gallery is located within Molly's House, Inc. a non-profit organization that provides temporary lodging for patients and families receiving medical care on the Treasure Coast.
"The idea of opening Molly's Gallery came from a concept that Art helps Heal, " stated Louise Murtaugh, Executive Director. "Many of our families are going through some type of medical emergency and will appreciate the art that is inspired by many of our local artists. Families come from across the nation to be with a loved one. Molly's Gallery will provide a picturesque views that will take our families to faraway places for just a few moments in their troubling day."
The public is invited to visit Molly's Gallery daily between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The Gallery is located at 430 SE Osceola Street, Stuart (just east of confusion corner in downtown Stuart). No reservations required. If you have a group that would like to visit, please call 772.223.6659 to schedule a Tea & Tour of the Gallery.
On the first Thursday of each month, a Champagne Opening Reception will be held at Molly's Gallery from 4 - 7 p.m . (subject to change). The Free Art Exhibits at Molly's Gallery is hosted by volunteers and staff of Molly's House.
The Art Exhibit schedule from September through May 2009 is as follows:
