Elliott Museum Juried Art Show: Calling All Artists
Are you an artist? Do you know an artist? The Elliott Museum will be hosting its 5
th Annual Juried Art Exhibition and would like local artists to submit their works. This year's theme, "Florida...Expressions and Reflections", was selected to provide artists an opportunity to explore and celebrate Florida's unique history and lifestyle.
"The Juried Art Exhibition is always special as it showcases the many talented artists we have in this area," commented Marlee Matheson, Elliott Museum Board Member and Chair of the Gallery Committee. "It is certainly a privilege for us to host an event that will undoubtedly include wonderful local art."
On a bittersweet note, this will be the last art exhibit in the old Elliott Museum. But what better way to say farewell to this museum and generate excitement for the new museum than to celebrate local artists? The Elliott Museum Juried Art Shows will live on, but in the future they will be hung in the
New Elliott Museum.
