New Gallery Opens in Martin County

A CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION AT MOLLY'S GALLERY

STUART, FL - Martin County's newest art gallery, Molly's Gallery, located at Molly's House, 430 SE Osceola Street, Stuart will hold a "Champagne Reception" for three local artists on Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 4 - 7 p.m.

Featured artists for the month of September include Ms. Dee Kuhl from Hobe Sound, Kathryn Gose and Lynn Brouillette from the Treasure Coast.

Ms. Deloris Kuhl is a highly recognized art instructor as well as artist. She has been exhibiting and teaching in South Florida for over 20 years. She specializes in Raku Hand-Built Slab and Sculptured Pottery. She has exhibited at the Norton Gallery of Art, West Palm Beach, Broward Art Guild, Ft. Lauderdale, Lighthouse Gallery & School of Art, Tequesta, and the Tates Gallery, League City, TX.

Artist Kathryn Gose is a self taught artist whose father was a commercial artist. She began drawing at an early age, but unfortunately no one picked up on her talent. She went on to nursing school and raised two daughters. It wasn't until 2000, that she realized she had talent that brought her a great passion for oil painting. Her works feature nature, animals and Christmas scenes.

Artist Lynn Brouillette is a New Jersey native now residing in the Treasure Coast. As a child she painted in all mediums but chose to become a nurse in which she is still practicing full time. About seven years ago in response to a life changing event, she returned to her love of painting. She began to revive her talents through instruction with Kate Wood in early 2001. While Lynn works primarily in oils, she also has a special interest in watercolor and color pencils.

The three artists will share the gallery beginning September 1 through 30th. The Champagne Reception on September 4 from 4 p.m. until 7 pm. is Free to the public. All three artists will be on hand to meet you and talk about their work. Donations are kindly accepted.
