Stuart News Artists Appreciate Sailfish Arts
Contributed by: Jean Sanders on 2/13/2006

Stuart News artists and their offspring made the scene at Sailfish Arts, the newly re-named annual arts festival which benefits the many wonderful arts events for the Martin County Council for the Arts, held this weekend in downtown Stuart. You still have time to visit the festival and enjoy the many artists and craftspeople in Memorial Park. Bring your dog! Bring your appetite! Revel in art and sunshine. The festival is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 - 5. Support your local artists! Become a patron of the arts.

"Fairs are good places to eat, particularly for stand-up eaters - which is one of the kinds of eaters I am, although when I eat standing up away from home I sometimes miss the familiar cool breeze coming from the open refrigerator."
Calvin Trillin
