Stuart, Florida--Stuart photographer Diane Dultmeier received four Addy Awards—three gold and one silver--at the 2006 Addy Awards Banquet held by the Advertising Federation of the Treasure Coast Saturday night, March 4, at the Elliott Museum. Dultmeier won for her evocative black and white portraits created for the 2006 Friends of the Breast Care Center calendar. She received a Gold Addy for the entry entitled “Women of Strength,” a photography campaign, which included four of the calendar images. She received a Gold Addy for the individual entries “Peggy with her Daughter and Granddaughter” and for “Connie.” She also received a Silver Addy for the image “Sharon.” The calendar itself, designed by Tara Biek of Tara Biek Creative, received a Silver Addy award. Winning the awards was particularly fulfilling for Dultmeier, because Peggy Aydelotte, a woman featured in one of the calendar images, was in the audience and brought to tears upon seeing her portrait flash upon the screen during the announcement of the winners. All the women in the calendar are breast cancer survivors or patients. The 2006 Friends of the Breast Care Center calendar was printed by Southeastern Graphics and is available for $10 from www.supportpinktie.com. It is a 15-month calendar, going through March 2007. The money raised from the calendar goes to a fund for breast cancer patients who cannot afford health insurance. Dultmeier has owned Diane Dultmeier Photography of Stuart since 1992. She specializes in photojournalistic weddings and natural portraits in Florida’s beautiful outdoor locations. See her work at www.dultmeierphoto.com. More than 25 companies submitted 90 creative pieces in the Treasure Coast Addy competition. The Federation handed out gold and silver prizes in 11 major categories ranging from sales promotion to public service. Gold winners advance to Florida-Caribbean district competition. The winners there move on to national judging sponsored by the American Advertising Federation. For more information, contact Diane or Christine at Diane Dultmeier Photography, (772) 223-0451
