Sewall's Point Essential: Bloody Mary
Serves 1 (So be nice and double the recipe)

1 ounce vodka
2/3 cup tomato juice
1 teaspoon horseradish
2 splashes of Tabasco sauce
Pinch of celery seed
Fresh ground pepper
Celery stalk (or if you want to be fancy, a slice of lemon or cucumber)

Use a tall glass filled with ice. Add vodka, tomato juice and the seasonings. Here is where Charles and Camilla part ways: he likes celery, she likes cucumber. "This is not a Pimm's, dearest," he hisses.
Yesterday myConnecticut visitor and I went to Howley's in West Palm. She had the Bloody Mary while I, ever mindful of my driving responsibilities, had a Diet Coke. She had to request extra horseradish. So you know the Sewall's Point Essential would have been just right for her. Cheers!

"You can tell how long a couple has been married by whether they are on their first, second ot third bottle of Tabasco."
