STRAWBERRY JELLO DESSERT

1 large package of Strawbery Jello
1 box of frozen strawberries
1 large can chopped pineapple
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
1 8 oz. container of Cool Whip

Prepare in a large salad bowl.

Thaw frozen strawberries and set aside. Prepare Jello by using only the hot water as specified on the back of the Jello box. Replace the cold water with the thawed strawberries, chopped pineapple and juice from pineapple and mix well. Add nuts to Jello before refrigerating, if desired.
Place in refrigerator and allow Jello to firm before serving. Several hours.
When serving, spread Cool Whip on top of Jello. Enjoy!
