CHERRY CHEESECAKE

1 12 oz. box Vanilla Wafers
1 stick butter
1 8 oz. package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese (softened)
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
1 large container of Cool Whip

In medium bowl,crush vanilla waffers very thin. (Set aside 1/2 cup crumbs for garnish).
Melt butter and mix with crushed vanilla wafers.
Place wafer mixture into a 9 x 12 baking dish. Refrigerate
In large bowl mix the cream cheese and Cool Whip together until well blended,
Remove the crumb mixture from refrigerator and spoon the cream cheese and Cool Whip mixture evenly on top of the crumbs.
Top with can of cherry pie filling.
Garnish with 1/2 cup of saved crumbs.
