THE BEST MEATLOAF

THE BEST MEATLOAF

2 lbs. ground chuck
1 cup milk
1 cup seasoned italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
1/3 cup chopped sweet onion
1 large egg
2 tablespoons prepared chili sauce
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees.

In large mixing bowl, gently mix all of the ingredients thoroughly.
In a 13 by 9 inch baking pan, shape the meat into a 9 by 5 inch loaf or pat it into a 9 by 5 inch loaf pan. Bake about 1 hour until the meatloaf is firm and a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the meatloaf registers 155 degrees.
Let the meatloaf sand in the pan for 10 minutes, then cut into slices and serve.
