Here is a spot I bet you have overlooked. It is a charming, singular sight in this busy world of big box stores and homogenized, ubiquitous chains: it is the back entrance to the Riverwalk Cafe in Downtown Stuart. Just around the corner from busy Osceola Street you will find this gem of a view. Look at the 19th century bricks and the lovely, old-fashioned graphics of the sign - still striking and charming. I particularly love the jumble and self-importanceof the emergency cut off valves - I don't know what they do but I love looking at them.
This spot is a stone's throw from the St. Lucie River and all the busy little shops downtown. Get away from the tourists, who are enjoying our chilly winter days, and see something unique. Lunch here is quite nice, too. Eve and I just love the fries!
Let me know how you like seeing what I see.
