Jean's Scenes 6
Contributed by: Jean Sanders on 5/28/2006

There really are so many interesting sights in our area. One good place to people watch is at the Green Market held on Sunday mornings in Memorial Park on East Ocean Boulevard. Except after a torrential rain - when the park is transformed into a basin of deep water...
Visit the Green Market one Sunday and enjoy the beautiful colors of the artfully stacked fruits and veggies. There are usually vendors who hawk their beautful orchids and potted plants. My children are especially fond of the penny candy, and the fresh sausage rolls. This is the perfect place to get a crusty loaf of French bread for the Sunday spaghetti we are going to brew up later.
Who can resist this fried conch vendor? She brought the flavor of the Bahamas to Stuart that morning.
Look around at this small weekly gathering and enjoy the quiet beauties of a Sunday morning out of doors and away from the fray.
Let me know how you like this week's painting!
