I've got two special foodie's delights to tell you about this week. And believe me - you're going to LOVE both of them!

The first one involves my very favorite food group - chocolate! Heidi's Candies opened in Port St Lucie in April, and the list of sweets-loving customers gets longer every week. There are novelty items like Dolphins pops and old standbys like truffles. Not quite in the lofty stratosphere of chocolate, but high on our hit parade nonetheless, is beer. And Carmel's of Vero will offer a unique event on October 3, a Beer Pairing Menu to kickoff Oktoberfest. A four-course dinner of German gastronomic delights will be accompanied by a unique quartet of beers, including lager, wheat, amber and stout.
