COMICS - Sugar Free Halloween Treat Kids Love

We live in a time where children can no longer go house to house or haunt places they don't know on Halloween night. Questionable candy and other dangers have put fear in the holiday and forced people to seek creative alternatives to the traditional celebrations.

A few years ago "Capt." Joel Kilmer of Big Dog Comics, was trying to decide what treat could he give kids that was not likely to harm and might even prove beneficial? The answer naturally, turned out to be all around him. So for the past 22 years he has been giving the local ghouls and ghosts of Saint Lucie County the ultimate in Halloween treats, Comic books!

People have asked "Why give comic books?" and "Capt." Joel's response is always "They are popular with the kids, safe and educational. Parents don't have to worry about hidden surprises and kids have fun reading. Who knows, they just might learn something in the bargain". For less than the price of a candy bar, you can give those little tricksters that haunt you a treat that will entertain as well as educate.

Stop by Big Dog Comics anytime between now and "all hallows eve" to pick up some of our Howl-o-ween Comic Treat packs to hand out to the tricksters at the door of your crypt. If you find yourself and your little tricksters out and about on Saturday, October 31st stop by the store between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM where any child in costume will receive a free comic book and who knows, there may be a few other treats to be found.
