New Relay For Life website launches

The Relay For Life of Port St. Lucie has added another resource for participants and those seeking information on the event - www.pslrelayforlife.com.

This hub of Relay activity will host photos and video from various fundraisers, meetings and other events and activities during this Relay season. There will also be important dates to note, news, team and committee information.

While an online component is not new to the Relay - online fundraising and team pages are still available through the Kintera website - pslrelayforlife.com is designed to be a much more localized site. It will also link directly to Kintera's site, so that donating to the fight against cancer can remain easy.

Not just for existing participants, pslrelayforlife.com will also help introduce strangers to our event and hopefully showcase how much fun is put into the fundraising.

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature event: an overnight community fundraiser that celebrates local cancer survivors. The actual Relay is the culmination of a busy fundraising season, however, as participating teams raise funds for cures all year long.

The Relay For Life of Port St. Lucie will be held April 27 - 28, 2007 at Tradition Field in St. Lucie West. For more information on this event, visit www.pslrelayforlife.com.
