The 13 th Annual Butterfly luncheon held earlier this year was such a magical afternoon. This event is put together each year by the Founding Friends of Hospice. On April 14 th, the Founding Friends of Hospice held their "end of year luncheon" at Willoughby Golf Club and there they presented a check to Dr. Louis Benson, President and CEO of Treasure Coast Hospice, for this year's annual Butterfly Luncheon. When the final numbers were tallied...this year's Butterfly Luncheon raised over $160,000 with .89 cents of every dollar donated to Treasure Coast Hospice! Co-chairs Marilyn Stafford and Marie Bates were glowing at the news. What wonderful leaders with such big Hospice Hearts! This magical afternoon will help Treasure Coast Hospice touch many lives with the compassionate care and support everyone deserves, regardless of ability to pay.
