th Annual Tequesta Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Village Green Park, in front of Village Hall. This year's Festival will feature thrill rides, games, food and beverages and over 50 vendors. Live music will fill the air beginning at 11:30 a.m. with the reggae sounds of "
Sweet Justice" followed by "
B-Liminal's Island-Rock" from 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and wrapping up the afternoon with the alternative sounds of the "
Datura Street Band" from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Admission to the event is free for Village residents (proof of residency is required to receive a wristband). Non-residents can purchase wristbands: 16 and over - $10.00; Seniors over 65 and children 4-15 years old - $5.00; and children 3 and under - Free. A wristband is required to enter the event and can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation building at 399 Seabrook Road.
In the spirit of the event, Good Shepherd Church is sponsoring a Food for Families drive and will be collecting non-perishable food items at the gate entrances. Trolley transportation will be provided throughout Tequesta with over 15 drop off and pickup spots. For questions, please visit
