J.T. He has a degree in English from St. Andrews Presbyterian College. He and his wife, Lucinda, have two daughters: Jamie, a captain in the U.S. Air Force Space Command; and Jessica, a senior at Florida State University.

Sun and the Pasadena (Texas) Citizen. He has worked for Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers since 1994, serving as news editor for The Stuart News and design/copy editor for The Jupiter Courier. He is a 1988 graduate of the University of Tampa where he was the editor of The Minaret, the college newspaper.
