Barbara Mechanic was born in the lovely city of Ft. Pierce on 12/5/60 to The late Bernett Mechanic and Nealon Mechanic. The youngest of three children. I have a twin brother that is 18 minutes older than I am (which he never lets me forget.) I was educated here in the St. Lucie county area. A 1978 graduate of Fort Pierce Central High. I am a graduate of IRCC practical nursing program of 1981. I am the mother of two beautiful daughters, Shequita Mechanic, 14 and Sabrina Mechanic, 25. I have a great love for our teenagers.
