In October of 2008, a group of about 15 people, under the leadership of Charles Mory, came together from all over Martin County to save the Congregational church in Palm City from closing its doors forever. A member of the United Church of Christ, the church was begun in 1921 and is the 3 rd oldest church in the area. With so many needs around us, this new group refused to let this old church close without a fight.
