A little on VBPS - Vero Beach Power Squadron is a non-profit boating safety education organization. Our goal is to provide safety boating education to the public and our members. The Squadron's organized boating activities are cruises and rendezvous. Any member who has a boat, power or sail, is welcome to participate, and members without are invited to go along as crew with another member. A Boating Activities committee plans these cruises and raft-ups and publicizes them through the local newsletter and membership meetings.

Squadron Boating Course - There are now two classes, The Squadron Boating Class and America's Boating Course, both designed to be useful to all boaters, from the fisherman in an outboard to the skipper of a large cruiser or sailboat. All boaters are subject to nautical rules and regulations. Skippers should learn and respect traditional boating courtesies. The courses are meant to be of interest to the entire family; older children are welcome. We encourage your family to attend as a group.

When and Where - In the clubhouse at 301 Acacia Road (near the boat lanching area next to the Barber Bridge). Its from 7 pm to 9 pm Tuesdays nights for 7 weeks. You may call 772-770-2855 to preregister or just come to the class. The cost is $45.
