Blog Entry 4 of 4 Isles of Vero Beach Retirement Community
Isles of Vero Beach Retirement Community is a 214 senior retirement community located 3 miles Easo of I-95 in Vero Beach. Mostly independent retirees live here, but we do have some assisted living residents. Kay Westermann is our activity director--she's been here over 10 years! We have a great activity program and are always adding to our great schedule. Right now, I am looking for a part time activity director for the assisted living area. I would love to find someone with lots of energy, a bright personality, and lots of ideas to stimulate both the minds and bodies of our folks living in assisted living. These folks are physically healthy, but do suffer from minor dementia. Anyone who might be interested can call or visit The Isles..ask for me, Karen Dorsey. The Isles were originally built as a condominium community so our apartments are unusually large with full kitchens and sunrooms. Lots of amenities are included. The Isles in not brand new but it has the aura of "Old Florida" about it with beautiful landscaping and lots of extra's. Management is in the office everyday, so if anyone would like a personal tour--anyday is fine. We also have lots of meeting spaces so if any group is looking for a free place to meet, let us know. The Isles is a great place for independent seniors to keep active but still have some services if needed. Call us at 772-778-7888 or stop by. Karen Dorsey
