Days gone by............memories of the past. James Coletta! He leaves a wife SUZIE and other family members who I do not know.

I watched American Graffiti today and thought about all my old friends. It's was nostalgic and criminal as I thought how it is possible that I think about old loves and be here with my current love.

I love my wife immensely! Over the past few months I am thinking about my past loves. You know when you were younger and it was the first time.

Its not weird, its very strange, but it is what is happening in my mind. I don't know why but I have thought about life recently because a young man (Jim) passed before his time in my opinion. He was full of life and a real good man. I did not know him that well but he impressed me. He did not ask for much but had a real zest for life, or he expressed it, but it did him no good. He passed to another place. I wasn't there but he did it well, I was told.

So his wife said "Goodnight Sweetheart" and he left but he was still there. He spent his last days at home with her in the living room in there home. They had a hospital bed moved in and a few other medical things that help when you cant move around too well. He passed in the night but just before that he tried to get up and told her he had to go. She explained he needed to stay where he was. He fought her just a little, to get out of bed, but then settled down and went on his journey, without leaving the house.

We got a phone call late that night. I had left the phone on, it seem to make sense as we had a feeling about what was to come. So my wife was asleep and the phone rang. I picked up the phone and made for the bedroom. My wife said tell Suzie I will call her in the morning and I told my wife she needed to speak with Suzie NOW. She did and we cried for a while! Jim was gone!

There was a Celebration at the house a few days later. We had his meatballs, which she made just for the occasion. It was a nice tribute and many people who attended told those who were present how Jim impacted them. It's all on video but you will not see it. Suzie gets that all to her self.
