Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked, "Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?" He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do. Philip replied, "Even if we worked for months, we wouldn't have enough money to feed them!"

Could it be that when we face seemingly overwhelming challenges the Lord is TESTING us? And if so, what is the lesson here? Instead of lamely throwing up our arms and saying "Impossible!" we take what little resources we DO have and GET STARTED. Our secret weapon? We're not atheistic secularists. We know that there are "forces" at work (God) who will multiply and enhance our meager efforts. Be positive. Say a prayer and TRY it.
