I Corinthians 1:10
I appeal to you,
dear brothers and sisters
, by the authority of our
Lord Jesus Christ
, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.
Most of us are members, and many are leaders, in a local church. One of the most important priorities we can give ourselves to is the
unity
of that church. When a minor problem flares up, each of us brings a bucket to the fire. In our bucket there is either water or gasoline. We're either the type that resolves problems, or makes them worse.
I pray that you will work for harmony in your church. Please pray that for me
