How odd if this were actually practiced today. What kind of "gaps" would this create in our church teaching, singing and praying? If every "audible" ministry opportunity could only be filled by men, would there be enough willing men to go around? Men to lead prayer, lead singing, to carry the congregational song-service, to coo to babies in the nursery, teach the children in Children's Worship and the children's Sunday School classes. If we yanked the ladies voices would our churches collapse just as our US economy would if we suddenly yanked all of the immigrents? Thank you, ladies, for all that you do for the Kingdom.And thank you, men, I know so many of youtake seriously the call to step up to Godly leadership, service and teaching.
